Although nylon whips are durable they are not indestructible and do require a little care.

These are only a few ideas you may find helpful in taking care of your nylon whip.

•          Light colored whips will get dirty with use.
•          Do not leave or store your whip in direct sun light for long periods of time (especially if waxed).

•          Practice on smooth surfaces when possible (preferably grass). Avoid asphalt, concrete, gravel, open dirt, packed clay or loose sand. These are abrasive and can damage your whip.

DO NOT SWING ON THE WHIP.     DO NOT USE THE WHIP AS A ROPE.

 

The Cracker or Popper:

Poppers can be made from various materials and will have different sounds.  The poppers are made to wear out.

Change the popper as it wears out or wears down to the knot.  Extra poppers are supplied with your whip.

While using your whip always check the popper for knots. Once a knot is “popped” or “cracked” in place, it’s extremely difficult, next to impossible to get it out.
